Q: What is the process?
A: Generally the process starts with separation. The most common categories are common pre 1965 US Silver dimes, quarters, and halves, 1965-1970 Silver halves, US Silver Dollars, Gold and Silver bullion, Obsolete US & Foreign Coins & Paper Money. If you are fortunate you will have rare date or obsolete US type or Foreign coins in high grade.
Q: What do you charge to evaluate coins?
A: Generally nothing unless you need something detailed in writing. You however have the ability to do SOME EVALUATION on your own. Sites like PCGS Photograde

eBay SOLD LISTINGS is a good place to see prices realized on comparable items.

Q:Do you buy Gold, Silver or Platinum and what do you pay?
A: Yes I buy most all monetized precious metals and what I pay is based on the quantity and product you are selling. Typically I pay spot (found here)
